RE days

wpe41e9378.gif

It has been an exciting start to the new academic year with a record number of schools, including some new ones, booking RE days. We are on target for 60 RE days for this school year.
Two recent days entitled ‘Does Everyone Have Enough’ focused on issues of sharing. Children discovered the benefits of working together as they took part in a ‘jigsaw challenge’. They also enjoyed making fruit kebabs for each other and learning more about ‘Fair Trade’.
Two RE titles ‘Why the Bible is a special book’ and ‘Why is the Bible a bestseller’ highlighted the different genres in the Bible. Children heard stories from both the Old and New Testaments and reflected upon their relevance to our lives today.
‘What is faith and what difference does it make?’ is the title of a brand new RE day that we have recently delivered. During the day the story of Gideon and George Muller are used to unpack what it means to have a faith. Dustbin Dan makes several appearances to keep an eye on proceedings.
