Kelly's fundraising

FACT would like to say a big thank you to Kelly Taylor. Kelly who attends Bishop Wand School is 16 and has just completed her GCSE’s. In the midst of all her revision for her exams Kelly was kind enough to put FACT forward as one of her school’s charity projects. This entailed Kelly delivering a presentation on the work of FACT to staff and pupils. We were delighted to hear that Kelly was successful and FACT was chosen as one of the charities the school would support.
As well as the school donating £52, Kelly went on to raise £116.62 by selling all sorts of goodies such as biscuits, badges and candles.
So often our news is full of negative comments about the youth of today but Kelly is just one of many youngsters who have a very sharing, caring heart and are prepared to give time and energy to supporting others. So thank you to Kelly and all at Bishop Wand School for your wonderful support.
